Fishy Generator Guide

The Fishy Generator holds up to three adult fish and uses them to generate power. The fish stay in the tank and don't need feeding or replacing as fuel.

Research Fish Power.

Craft the Fishy Generator at an Equipment Workbench.

Fish power tables

These tables cover all 45 obtainable species. Add the fishes' individual outputs together to determine the total power output for a single generator. A Carp, an Eel and a Tuna produce 1.5 power, for example.

Getting more power

A Power Control Compartment adds 40%, bringing a generator with three maximum-output fish to 4.2 power.

Place the generator inside the compartment, or outdoors where it overlaps or sits directly beside the building.
