Ingredient combinations

Some recipes and ingredient combinations require the large version of the named station.

Minimum ingredient sell value means adding up the ingredients' base sell prices. Reach the amount shown to make the “Delicious” version. For example, Shiitake has a base sell price of 80 G, so one makes Delicious Mushroom Soup. Quality stars and selling bonuses do not count.

Ingredient Categories

Category icons represent a group; any accepted item can fill that slot.

Flour, Rice, Egg, Tomato and Tea Leaves refer to those exact ingredients. Tea Bags cannot replace Tea Leaves in Fruit Tea.

Why did I get a different dish?

Exact recipes take priority over category combinations. If more than one category combination matches, the first matching row in the station's combinations table above wins.

  • Flour + Grape in a Large Baking Oven makes Rye Loaf, rather than Jam Bread.
  • Two Yellow Fungus in a Pot make Fried Mushrooms, rather than Mushroom Soup.
  • Two End Crops make Mixed Endfoods, even when both also count as vegetables.
  • One Carp makes Grilled Fish; two Carp make Steamed Fish.

Adding ingredients can change the dish. For a simple upgraded result, one Shiitake makes Delicious Mushroom Soup: its base value of 80 G meets the threshold.

You can combine two copies of the same failed-food tier to make one of the next tier, up to tier five. Use the large station; the four upgrades take 10, 20, 40 and 80 minutes respectively.
